Polvitex® Z is applied in the textile industry for roller, screen and rotary-screen printing as alkaline and neutral printing pastes. It is successfully applied for printing cotton, linen, artificial and synthetic fibre and rayon fabrics.
Polvitex® Z can be used with:
- vat dyes
- vat colour leuco-esters
- pologen-dyes
- disperse dyes
- some reactive dyes.
Polvitex® Z can be used separately or mixed with some thickening agents, such as tragacanth, arabic gum, cellulose derivatives, wheat and maize starches.
Polvitex® Z can be used also in finish bath as protective colloid.
Special recommendation.
- Polvitex® Z dissolves easily in cold water (18÷22ºC)
- Temperature of water below 12°C makes difficult swelling Polvitex® Z, however in temperature above 50°C might be formed thick gel.
- Its solubility process is rapid easy when intensively mixed (about 1000 turns /min).
- Solution Polvitex® Z are resistant to hard water.
- Solution Polvitex® Z are resistant to the action of the majority of chemicals. However, it does not resist to the action of salts of trivalent metals such as aluminium and chromium.
