Xenopren PP TD 20
Xenopren® PP-TD-20 is a polypropylene homopolymer filled to 20% with talc. This material contains a mineral filler, which substantially modifies certain properties of basic polymer and, in particular, increases its flexural moduls of elasticity, dimensional stability and thermal resistance. This filled grade is recommended for injection-moulded manufactured items, and especially for the automotives. Products, made of talc modified polypropylene are also used in electrical engineering and electric houshold items. Processing of Xenopren® PP-TD-20 requires injection moulding machines with pressure of injection 80-100MPa. Recommended cylinder temperature should be about 2350C and mould temperature 700C. The average moulding shrinkage of this material is 1,5%.
